The MR-24® roof system is
specifically designed to accommodate roof movement. The system
is attached to the building's structure with a special clip and tab
assembly formed into the double-lock seam. Because the tab can move
within the clip, the entire roof can expand and contract freely
without sacrificing structural integrity. Butler's exclusive Pittsburgh double-lock standing
seam assures you of consistent weathertight performance.
Roof panels are permanently
seamed together with a 180 degree field formed seam completing a
full 360 degree "Pittsburgh" double-lock seam to keep moisture
out and assure structural integrity.
Roof clips securely attach the
roof panels to the supporting structurals by stainless steel tabs
which are roll formed into the panel seam.

Every part
of the exclusive MR-24 roof system uses only the highest quality
materials to assure a weather-tight standing seam roof that acts
like a single, monolithic steel
membrane.
Independent surveys show that the MR-24 roof
system is the most specified standing seam roof on the market, with
over 1 billion square feet installed since its introduction in
1969. |
